Austin-West Support Group Meeting

May 11 @ 10:30 AM - 12:00 PM

Topic: Corrective Exercise and the Role of Fascia for Neuropathy Patients
Speaker: Mark Albrecht, ELDOA Certified Trainer and owner of Balanced Bodies Austin
Location: Westlake Hills Presbyterian Church (address and map below)
Discover how postural exercises can help with neuorpathic pain with master instructor Mark Albrecht. He will share how he shows his clients how to resolve spinal issues, mobility limitations, structural imbalances and all kinds of physical pain with ELDOA techniques which are postural exercises that you can do yourself with the primary goal being to increase the space within a chosen articulation. As these exercises “create” space, there is an improvement in joint mechanics, increased blood flow, reduced pressure on the discs, a reduction of pain, spinal disc rehydration, better muscle tone, improved posture, and a sense of well being and awareness. Over the course of his 20+ year career, Mark has earned many certifications including CHEK Practitioner Level II, ELDOA Certified Trainer, and Functional Diagnostic Nutrition Practitioner (FDN-P).  His journey into the wellness world began in 1995 when Mark first decided to pursue a career in fitness and earned his B.S. in Exercise & Sports Science from Texas State University.
