I started taking Tai Chi classes for my arthritis in May, and while it was fun and good exercise, I didn’t notice much difference in the first few weeks. Then one day, I noticed that my legs didn’t get tired while I had been standing for a long time. Without realizing it, I had been applying some of the exercises from Tai Chi, and standing for long periods of time was a lot easier now. I am also able to get up from low chairs, my low bed and my old sofa much more easily—all thanks to Tai Chi. I talked about it so much, that I got two friends to join!
