Neuropathy Support Groups in Central Texas
Neuropathy Alliance of Texas currently offers monthly neuropathy support group meetings at three locations in Central Texas to share information and resources about daily living with neuropathy. These meetings feature expert speakers drawn from a wide variety of disciplines that can affect quality-of-life issues and provide practical strategies for “Living Well with Neuropathy.” Past topics have included:
- Coping with a chronic disease
- Neuropathy treatments and diagnoses
- Pain management
- Pharmacology and neuropathy supplements
- Alternative medicine
Most of our speakers make time to take questions from attendees, and many are available to speak with after the meetings.
Meetings also usually include time for neuropathy patients and caregivers to share ideas, information, resources, problems and solutions with other group members. This mutual support also occurs on an informal basis as attendees mingle before and after the meetings.
Anyone affected by neuropathy is welcome to attend.
